Enderby is the northernmost of the Auckland Islands and home to the biggest sea
lion breeding ground which is actually quite small. We had to get off the ship for a couple of hours this morning for the crew to do a mandatory drill, so we cruised around the cliffs of Ross Island. We have been blessed with the most perfect weather- bright sunshine today and very calm seas.
So I don’t know how I managed to do this but there are 2 photos of the penguins and rollmops we had for lunch!

A light-mantled sooty albatross nesting on the cliff face.
The sea lion colony on the beach. Do you see the cute little pups? And the skua - the bird at the very top right edge of the picture. They wait in case a pup is born and they can steal it.
Thanks for the basalt columns Aira. Its also interesting that they are sitting on a sedimentary layer by the look of the pictures
