Went on a Jetride up the Shotover River this morning. Lots of fun - first we took a hairy bus ride over the mountains and down to the river. Small bus, 16 seater, and the dirt road was windy and usually only one lane, very steep drops on one side and sheer cliffs on the other. Jetboat ride was exhilarating! Through one narrow canyon and up and down the grade 3/4 river. Didn’t take our cameras with us in case they got wet or dropped, so the river view from the road is what we can show you. Really worthwhile!
A great experience for us both! White water rafting or white knuckle jet boating? Chose the right one. Off the Invercargill tomorrow and into the boat. Woohoo!
